Sled Island 2026 Announces First Wave of Artists

As a proud sponsor of Sled Island 2026, we’re excited to celebrate the festival’s first wave of artist announcements for one of Calgary’s most anticipated annual music and arts events.

The first lineup reveal for Sled Island Festival 2026 features an eclectic mix of internationally recognized and emerging talent. Standout acts include Black Country, New Road, HOMESHAKE, Sextile, feeble little horse, Snõõper, Sweeping Promises, Laraaji, and Salami Rose Joe Louis.

The newly announced Sled Island 2026 lineup also includes Etran de L’Aïr, Thor Harris, DijahSB, Emily Yacina, Suffering Hour, and Tha Retail Simps, highlighting the festival’s commitment to genre-spanning, boundary-pushing programming.

A Bold and Diverse First Wave

This year’s first announcement brings together a compelling selection of artists from across genres and scenes. Additional performers revealed so far include billy woods, Backxwash, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Cartel Madras, Granpa, and Lana Del Rabies, with more acts still to be announced.

This first wave also spotlights exciting rising talent, including Wheelchair Sports Camp, Jairus Sharif, Jed Arbour, Dial Up, KTheChosen, CAT PISS, Pastel Blank, Parisian Orgy, Rebel Grrrlz, and bugswallow.

More Sled Island 2026 Announcements Still to Come

This is only the beginning for Sled Island 2026. The full festival lineup will be announced in the coming months and will include additional headliners, more than 150 more bands, plus comedy, art, special events, and conference programming.

Festival passes and tickets are on sale now through the festival. A limited number of single-show tickets for newly announced performances will also be available beginning Friday, March 6 at noon MST.
