Hellfest Open Air Festival has announced the starting lineup for this year and it looks like it is sure to please extreme-music lovers of all kinds. Check out this blurb, straight from the press release:
This year’s edition already promises to be the “Metal event” of 2010, the most important ever organized in France! Indeed, during the 3 days, the public will be able to discover or rediscover 114 bands of international acclaim, a veritable marathon of extreme music. Hellfest 2010 will present on four stages a large selection of all the styles like: Hard Rock, Black Metal, Heavy Metal, Hardcore, Death Metal, Glam, Sludge, Doom, Grind, Thrash, Indus, Progressif, Punk, Rock, Desert Rock etc.

Cam and Shane from 3 Inches of Blood talk about the new album, Here Waits Thy Doom, getting slaughtered by GWAR, and the “high” light of their careers being in High Times Magazine.
The crew from Living In A Limo, along with Norwegian paranormal investigator, Necronaut, record an electronic voice phenomenon underneath Ross Bay Cemetery in Victoria, BC. Paranormal experts, Donald Brizbain, and Ed Sum examine the recording and discuss it’s authenticity. Is it a real voice from beyond the grave? You decide.
